DFC announce the signing of Shane Duffell from a local Dorking side.

 

 

Dorking boss, 'Buckers', said, "I am pleased to announce the signing of Shane Duffell today from the local side, Dorking Wanderers. He is a good local lad, and I'm convinced he will make the step up to a highr level, no problem at all !"

 

I think Shane signed for us a few years back at Guildford in the CCL and struggled. He didn't get many minutes as had not played for a long while and I think fitness was an issue (it was only pre-season). Has he sorted that side of his game? I never saw the best of him as left in preseason as the manager that took over had different thoughts on football to me. The guys that new him though said he was a good player. Did score a peach against a half descent Basingstoke side in that preseason I think.

 

 

Probably a different person. Our Shane is quite young !

I don't follow, Kroons, but as you asked, 1 centre back is travelling, one moved to centre mid, one easing back in from knee injury, me (awaiting results from a back scan) and one fully fit.....but like I said, competition is healthy and I think everyone linked with the club is pleased with how the season has gone so far.
